Note the total number of items you agree with. If you suffer from 5 or more symptoms, you could have OSA (obstructive sleep apnea). The risks of OSA include heart attacks, strokes, impotence, irregular heartbeat, diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease.
If you noted 5 or more of the above items, you should be tested for OSA. Before going for an expensive sleep study in a Sleep Center, Dr. Neal can screen you. He will check your airway, review your history and can even do a simple take home test to see if you suffer from Sleep Apnea. Dr. Neal will then advise you on a next step in treatment. If it is determined that you can benefit from Oral Appliance therapy, Dr. Neal can fit you with an appropriate device.
