Traditional metal amalgams provide a durable, affordable way to repair decay in your teeth. Most patients prefer tooth-colored, composite resins, particularly for teeth that show when you smile. However, in back teeth, amalgams may be the better choice. When you meet with Dr. Neal, he will go over the pros and cons so that you can decide which type of filling will best meet your needs.
